My boys didn't have long to settle into their new place and enjoy the last of the incredible fall weather we were having. Sunday the weather turned into rain, then rain/wind/cold even some snowflakes this morning.
They have chosen to remain out in the fields, forsaking the barn. Even though they know where it is and I have seen them walk through it. Even though it is out of the wind, rain, has fresh hay and even apple chunks on occassion.
Even then they'd prefer to do this. What can you do? You can lead an alpaca to the barn, but you can't keep him in there.
